Public Sentiment

The Public Sentiment meter is a rating of public feeling relating to “talents” invented by reporter April Lane. It is a numerical rating from -7 to 7 based on the following three questions:

How comfortable do you feel about people with ‘talents’? (-2, I fear them; 2, I trust them)
Do you appreciate the contributions that talents make to society? (-2, I hate them; 2, I love them)
Do you believe talents should have to register or otherwise declare themselves to the public and government? (-2, Absolutely; 2, Absolutely not)

A final +/- 1 is reserved for the judgement of the editor, in most cases April Lane herself. This rating is constantly updated on the streaming website, Channel Six News.
